We are currently waiting on pups with our internet famous Diana the Diva in late 2026. Our Grand Champion home bred boy Mark is the sire. These pups are due mid October. We expect brindle pups with white and should have some gorgeous pups available. Mark is a wonderful outgoing boy that gets along wonderfully with all dogs. Diana is AKC pointed and is a sassy sweet petite girl. To get on Diana's litter list, please fill out our application.
Both parents are health tested with current and normal Heart echocardiogram, CAER eye exam, and ears BAER tested normal.
Our pups are raised in a busy household and are exposed to ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and Sound Desensitization CD's played periodically during the day. We follow the Puppy Culture (TM) Program for better puppies.
We have plans in early 2027 to breed our multiple group placing Patti.

Stuff You will need

A 36 inch wire crate will grow with your pup to adulthood.

36 inches long is a good size that will work for them as an adult as well. Height and width can vary a little. This is a wire crate, you can also use an airline type crate which has a hard plastic exterior with ventilation holes. Either will work.

A 36 inch tall wire exercise pen will keep your pup safe in an area in your home.
These are just like what we use in our home when we need to safely contain the pups
without having them be confined in their crate.

It is important that the pen be at LEAST 36 inches tall. Any shorter and they can easily climb or jump out.

We feed our puppies Royal Canin Medium Puppy Dry.

Royal Canin is a high quality dry food that you can feed till they are 1 year old. This is the ONLY PUPPY FOOD we recommend. If you want to feed another food, we recommend Purina Sport 30/20 all life stages.

A 36 inch crate pad will fit in your 36 inch crate. Get a few so that you can wash soiled pads.

Monitor bedding daily to make sure pup is not chewing off pieces and consuming. Yes, pups will sometimes do that.

Whippets absolutely LOVE Cozy Cave beds.
They come in several styles, memory foam topper, microsuede,
just make sure you get the Extra Large size.

If a cozy cave is not possible, any soft bed will do, but they should have their own spot to call their own.

We recommend feeding in the crate in order to foster positive associations.
We use these buckets with double end snaps to attach to the inside of the crate.

The snaps can be found at any hardware store.

Your puppy will probably have accidents.
A cleaner such as Natures Miracle will remove any residual odors
making the spot less likely to be soiled again due to a scent.

A little white vinager mixed with water will be a good thing to have on hand to spray on areas soiled. It neutralizes the ammonia smell.

Your puppy will be happier in his crate with a toy like the Kong to keep him busy.
Stuff it with peanut butter, freeze, and give to your pup when you leave them in the crate.

If you get this exact model, make sure you get the MEDIUM size.

Your puppy may chew things he shouldn't.
Spraying with Bitter Apple will help curb those naughty habits.

Bitter Apple is one brand. There are others that work the same way.

Nail care is really the only real grooming that your whippet will eventually need, other than the occasional bath.
Keeping your pups nails short will help avoid toe and foot injuries.
Believe it or not, long toe nails can hurt your pup when they are running at super sonic speeds.
Using a dremel weekly will keep them in check.
